I have a preference that over recent months seems in-line with some very notable photographers. Chase Jarvis, Zack Arias, Joe McNally and David Hobby have been sharing information about photography for many a year. Only recently and by that I mean perhaps 12-18months, Zack, David and Joe have found supplementary incomes abound by actually charging for the knowledge crammed inside their heads. I feel fortunate that I invested and I don’t used the invested word often, by attending the David Hobby workshop when he visited Leeds in 2010. David set the bar high, an investment it sure...
Always keen to share my knowledge of photography, this post actually shows how to process an image to soften and brighten skin so that it still looks natural without turning the model into a plastic doll. Striking a balance between too much/too little is a fine line and brings with it much discussion about what to take away. I typically remove spots but permanent markers like freckles I will always leave them unless I’m asked to remove them. On wedding images that can take quite some time Hope you enjoy, thanks for watching and why not leave me a comment or...

Time and technology moves on. One very interesting...

As models go Kellie just gets on with it and is super patient whilst lights camera action Mr Deville, get tweaked here and there. Never once did Kellie tut or huff and puff or want to move to the next take until we really had nailed what we were working on then and there. And knowing that when the instruction to free pose is taken with such gusto and in the face of biting winds where brass monkeys would fear to tread, Kellie just gone on with it. A real trouper. I hope in the near future to...
