It’s important to realise that the style of our photography hasn’t fundamentally altered, but our back-end processing of the images has. Largely this change has come about by feedback from clients and our desire to return to creating images that show people for who they are. Skin is skin and not some airbrushed plastic replacement that so many photographers show.
All to say that if a client does want to be ‘softened’ then of course we will do that, but those lines show character and have a beauty all of their own.
The image you clicked on is the Mother of one of our brides. The left image was taken in our hair and make-up studio, more commonly called our kitchen. The right hand side was taken on the wedding day in the dining room of their house.
