Image resizing – I want it now!

For anyone that runs a blog or a website it is imperative that any images you use are small enough to maximise viewing speed for your clients.  Too slow and people will vote with their RSI suffering mouse fingers.  They’ll click away from your site staying only long enough to curse the sluggish speed of your internet shop window and let me tell you, there’s no such thing as too fast.

And before I get many a complaint about the speed of my site…I know!  Yep, learning new things and in this case net-friendly-photo-resizing, will mean countless hours for me resizing all our images.

So, learn from my mistakes and resize now and at least give your server a bit of breathing space to work efficiently and keep viewers viewing longer as your website loads quickly.

The video is 15 minutes long but I do walk you through Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Photoshop, Capture NX2 and a terrific (PC only) free and very good resizing tool from Faststone.
